Privacy Policy
1. Privacy at a Glance
General Information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you.
2. Data Collection on This Website
Who is responsible for data collection?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the legal notice of this website.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected when you provide it to us (e.g., via the contact form). Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website (e.g., technical data such as internet browser, operating system, time of page access).
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior - but only with your explicit consent.
3. Your Rights
You have the right at any time to:
- Request information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data
- Request the correction or deletion of this data
- Request restriction of processing
- Object to processing
- Request data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
4. Cookies and services we use
This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They do not cause any damage and do not contain viruses. On your first visit, a cookie banner asks for your consent. Strictly necessary cookies are always set; all other services only start after you actively opt in, via Google's "Consent Mode" — until you consent, storage of advertising and analytics cookies is disabled by default.
Specifically, we use the following services (Google Ireland Limited, Microsoft and Meta):
- Google Ads (conversion tracking) — measures whether visitors take a desired action after clicking one of our ads.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — anonymized traffic measurement to analyze site usage.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session recordings and heatmaps to improve user experience.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) via our tracking tool AdFlow — if you arrive from one of our Meta ads and have given consent, we tell Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. via the Conversions API that you viewed the page in depth or sent an enquiry (click ID, IP address, browser identifier, pseudonymous visitor ID). For an enquiry we also send your email address or phone number, but only as a SHA-256 hash calculated in your browser — the details themselves are never transmitted. Purpose: measuring and optimising our ads.
To improve the cookie banner, we anonymously count how often it is shown and how often “Accept” or “Decline” is chosen – only as daily totals per page, origin (e.g. an ad) and device type, without cookies, identifiers or storing your IP address.
You can withdraw or change your consent for the future at any time: Open cookie settings. Alternatively, you can block cookies generally in your browser settings.
5. Contact Form
When you send us inquiries via the contact form, your information (name, email, message) will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for any follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent. Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
6. Meta ad forms (instant forms)
If you fill in a form (Meta "instant form") in one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, the information you provide — name, phone number and, optionally, the name and city of your business — is collected by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and passed on to us. Meta may pre-fill some fields with information from your Facebook/Instagram profile; you can change it before submitting, or not submit the form at all.
We use this information only to respond to your request and to prepare a quote or design draft for you; we do not sell it or share it with third parties for advertising. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no business relationship results, we delete your data after 6 months at the latest; otherwise statutory retention periods apply. You can request deletion at any time via [email protected].
Information on how Meta processes data: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
7. CRM Panel
Businesses that purchase our CRM Panel product receive a separate technical installation to process their own clients' data (e.g. name, phone number, appointments, payment information). Data in that installation belongs solely to the business in question; we access it only for support purposes and at the business's request. That business acts as the data controller towards its own clients under GDPR (Art. 4(7)); we act as a data processor.
The live demo at demo.digitaladexpert.de is publicly accessible and contains no real client data; sample data entered there is reset automatically every night.
8. Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. The servers are located in various data centers worldwide. Cloudflare collects information that your browser transmits in server log files (e.g., browser type, date and time of access, IP address). Storage is based on our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of the website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
